Biography
As an actor, writer and voice over, Matt has a good handle on irony, allowing him to flow freely from dramatic to comedic.
He is one of the most sought-after voice artists in Australia. Regular clients include: 7 Network – Showtime – 20th Century Fox – and many more. Popular and widely used, Matt’s versatility and warm, authoritative “signature read” ensure that the marketplace always listens.
Matt is also a presenter and toured Europe extensively, where he shot a 13-part series for SBS on the lives, music and stomping grounds of the Great Composers. He wrote and co-presented the series, which was bought by BBC Worldwide.
Aside from the serious, he was also a core member of the radio satire, How Green was my Cactus, for nearly 13 years. He has won the Henry Lawson Spoken Word Award for Poetry twice.
