Sophie Roche

BIOGRAPHY

Sophie has the unique combination of a beautiful voice with a dynamic range and exceptional acting skills. Through warm natural reads, buzzing energetic sounds, character voices to straight corporate deliveries, Sophie’s positive attitude towards work and play can be heard.

A graduate from W.A.A.P.A and an all round performer, Sophie is an accomplished singer, actor and voice artist. On stage she has entertained thousands with her signing voice.  One of her greatest achievements was playing the role of ‘Ellen’ in the Australian tour of the musical Miss Saigon. She’s performed at the Woolworths Carols in the Domain, was lead vocalist for Sydney’s premier party band ‘Planet Groove’,  and is currently singing her way around the vibrant Melbourne music scene.

On television, she’s played diverse roles in many T.V. soapies/series.  Playing lead characters in Out of the Blue, Stupid Stupid Man, Headland , Home & Away and Underbelly.  Throw in being the puppeteer and voice of Chatterbox for the popular children’s group HI-5, and lots of TVC’s, and you can understand how Sophie’s versatility and well rounded experience is what makes her so adaptable in any voice session.
