Biography
Kate has dedicated her life to the craft of acting. She has worked extensively as an actor in Australia and the U.S.
Her credits include Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Brothers, Insecure, NCIS, Devious Maids, Mistresses, Hawaii 5-0, Lucifer, Rake, Jack Irish, Blackjack, FlightPlan, Southbound and Chopper, to name a few.
She is renowned for her ability to take direction. Her years of study and vast experience give her a deep, comprehensive understanding of performance and timing. She loves exploring the possibilities of a script and collaborating with creatives to capture just the right sound for the job.
Polished, relatable, seductive, sassy; Kate’s incredibly versatile voice lends itself to everything from authentic natural reads, to soft sell, buoyant fizzy promo’s and ultra real voice acting. Kate also enjoys corporate work and can make the most complex and technical script sound easy and breezy.
Sadly this affinity with technical words doesn’t spill over into technical actions. To date Kate has only ever assembled one Ikea flat pack successfully. (And her Dad and FaceTime may have had a hand in it)
