BIOGRAPHY

Lucy-Rose Leonard is an Australian actress. She was born and raised in Melbourne, Victoria. She was accepted into Victorian College of the Arts at 18 and continued her actor training at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, graduating in 2018.

Her first screen appearances were guest roles in television’s Neighbours, Winners and Losers, a reoccurring role in Network Seven’s pilot Denise and the lead of award winning short Coming Home.

After graduating RADA in London, she performed in BBC Radio 4’s short story program and BBC Television’s comedy skit program A year in the Life of created by Lucy Montgomery and Rhys Thomas. She had the opportunity to play Helen of Troy opposite John Hopkins at Shakespeare’s Globe as a part of the Shakespeare and Poland Festival which was broadcast simultaneously in New York, Toronto and Poland. She continued to perform at Shakespeare’s Globe in the Read Not Dead series from 2017 to 2019.

Lucy-Rose went on to play the lead role in award winning London shorts Golden Girl and Motto. However, she was also cast as the supporting lead role of Nikki in the Australian feature film Crazy About You. She guest starred in award winning film Nitram and Russell Crowe’s most recent film Sleeping Dogs.

In 2020, Lucy-Rose was awarded an Exceptional Talent in the Arts Visa in UK. She is currently starring as the series regular Lady Fanny Fox, opposite David Thewlis and Thomas Brodie-Sangster in the international Disney+ and Hulu series The Artful Dodger.

For someone so young, Lucy-Rose has a mountain of experience which she brings to every voice session. Her intuition and timing is exceptional and her range and ability to take direction is second-to-none.
